Job description
Key aspect of the mission as Strategic Product Manager is collaborating within the Product Management team to jointly drive the development of innovative, customer-centric solutions in layer 1 of the automation stack. You will be the driving force behind our software portfolio strategy and safeguard our market position by transforming insights into innovative, commercially viable solutions. Acting as the go-to-market interface, you will turn concepts into reality and ensure our products align with global strategic objectives.
Your Core Responsibilities are:
- Own the full Layer 1 software product lifecycle
Define, plan, and coordinate release requirements for successful go-to-market execution - Maintain pricing models and price lists for commercial viability
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (T-Hive, Strategic Innovation Office, MSCOs) for strategic alignment
- Act as liaison with third-party suppliers (e.g., Kollmorgen, EAB)
- Conduct market intelligence: competitor analysis, benchmarking, positioning
- Communicate the software roadmap and provide expert knowledge in strategic forums
Your Profile
You bring a strategic mindset paired with strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of technology-driven products and solutions. You excel at identifying customer needs and turning them into innovative, value-creating offers. Your entrepreneurial spirit thrives in dynamic environments with high uncertainty and multiple stakeholders. You are a skilled communicator with a passion for stakeholder engagement and relationship building.
You energize the teams you work with, combining a structured approach with the ability to build strong internal networks. As a true team player, you collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders and development teams to deliver impactful results.
You have:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B strategy/innovation (industrial, digital, IoT)
- Experience with strategy consultancy and startups
Skilled in Outside-In thinking, mapping customer journeys - Proficient in LEAN Startup and iterative, data-driven innovation
- Fluent in English (written & verbal) with excellent communication skills
