The business area Racking Solutions belongs to Market operations organization and is a vital part to the ambition and strive towards becoming a Solution provider to our customers
The Position
As project design engineer in the business area Racking Solutions you will be the center of excellence for different products/solutions and Key-user of design and calculation software tools from different suppliers. You will be responsible for the software tools towards both MSCOs and suppliers and thereby implementing efficient ways of working, support, templates and guidelines. In your role you will also be operational supporting MSCO´s and others making layout/drawings and quotations for different Racking/storage solutions.
Your Responsibilities
- First line support towards Msco of Products/software/calculation tools from suppliers
- Single point of contact and speaking partner towards suppliers regarding Products/SW/calculation tools. Establish status as “train the trainer” for TMHE/Racking Solutions
- Implementation of new products/Toyota-OEM products in supplier´s tool(s) where applicable
- Continuous check and update of software data content i.e product specification, prices, rebates, spare parts, templates, etc
- Secure functionality and together with supplier drive resolution of eventual issues
- Initiate, set up and conduct trainings of suppliers products and/or software calculation tools to users at Msco. Both in roll-out phase and continuous
- Operational support in making layout, drawings and quotations for MSCOs
Your Profile
We’re looking for an experienced and communicative candidate - someone who knows making racking layout design and material flow. You have a couple of years working experience in SW-tools used, good experience of using CAD (AutoCAD) and good knowledge of IT and computer installation procedures. Fluent in English, in /speech and writing. Other languages is an advantage.
As a person, you have strong communication skills and enjoy working with internal customers, suppliers, partners and building relationships in an international environment. You are used to working with/in sales departments and have a customer-oriented mindset. To be successful in this position it’s important to be service minded and have pedagogical skills.
