The Position

As a part of the Market Operations organization, the role of the Senior Regional Manager & Toyota Production Systems (TPS) Advisor is to develop and lead TPS programs/activities dedicated to grow our teams, strengthen our operations and support our customers. The Senior Regional Manager & TPS Advisor is taking full responsibility for the TPS development of a Toyota Lean Academy (TLA) region in Europe by increasing local TPS competencies and supporting the effective implementations in each country over the long term. The Senior Regional Manager & TPS Advisor is contributing to the central activity by taking over specific tasks.

 

Your responsibilities   
TPS is over decades at the heart of the success of our Group. TMHG and TMHE have decided to develop further TPS skills in the sales & marketing organization to optimize our operations and to support our customers. The initiative is led by headquarter in Japan and involve all the world-wide region of the Material Handling Divisions.  
 
As Senior Regional Manager & TPS Advisor you are: 

  • Developing and leading programs to strengthen over the long term the TPS capabilities of our Marketing and Sales companies in Europe.
  • Responsible for the deployment of the TPS for one of the TMHE regions by developing local skills and by contributing to the success of MSCOs internal activities and TPS support to customers (success mainly measured by MSCOs/customers’ satisfaction, assessments and effective long-term implementation).
  • Be an active member of the TLA central team by supporting coordination and communication activities.
  • Acting if needed TLA consultant directly at the customer site in any TMHE region upon request.

Your Profile

  • Experienced and interested about TPS with professional background within Toyota.
  • Strongly motivated by the TLA challenge aiming to grow our teams to excellence and to support our customers in the field of the Material Handling business.
  • Ability to execute/coordinate TPS programs from Design to training and practical implementation in a multicultural environment.
  • Good in communication, coordination and relations - Governance structure in TMHE including MSCOs and Independent Partners.
  • Ability to frequently travel over Europe (3 business trips/month in average). 

 

Location 
Depending on the chosen candidate the location could be in any of the TMHE Offices in Europe, but preferable in Ancenis (France) or Bologna (Italy). In this role you will report to the Director of the Toyota Lean Academy.
