RTLS (Real Time Location Services) is an important puzzle piece currently missing in our solution offer. Our business relation with Customers, partnership with leading RTLS providers, but mainly the increasing market demand for RTLS bring us to a point where we want to invest into our future.
Your role
The RTLS Application Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS) for tracking assets, people, and processes across industries such as logistics, healthcare, manufacturing, and smart warehousing. This role involves working closely with customers, sales, and engineering teams to integrate RTLS technologies, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system performance. For this role, you will report to the Head of Connectivity.
Your main challenges
1. RTLS System Design & Deployment
Work with clients to assess location tracking requirements and propose RTLS solutions. Manage the installation of the hardware equipment and coordinate the configuration of the software platforms.
2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Monitor installation and where needed diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related RTLS issues.
3. Customer Training & Documentation
Create technical manuals, user guides, develop and conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams and ensure knowledge transfer for effective system utilization and maintenance.
4. Product Development & Enhancement
Support central units in collaborating with R&D teams to improve RTLS algorithms, tracking accuracy, and system features.
5. Sales & Business Development Support
Support Trade shows, conduct proof of concept installations, and assist sales teams with technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposal development.
6. Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure RTLS solutions comply with industry regulations and security standards.
