At the TMHE Used Trade Facility (UTF), we offer dealers and traders a one-stop shopping experience for used Toyota forklifts, coming from our European network.
The position
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on UTF Health & Safety, Premises, and TLA Coordinator to support the Used Trade Facility (UTF) in Puurs. In this multifaceted role, you will coordinate Health & Safety activities, act as the local focal point for premises-related matters and drive the practical implementation of Toyota Production System (TPS) and Toyota Lean Academy (TLA) principles.
You will report directly to the Head of UTF and, for Health & Safety activities, functionally to the EHS Officer.
The position will be based in Puurs.
Your responsabilities
Health & Safety
- Act as Prevention Advisor Level 3 (or complete the required certification after appointment).
- Coordinate and maintain Health & Safety plans, risk assessments, incident investigations, and prevention actions.
- Support compliance with legal and company H&S requirements through audits, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and follow up on corrective actions to ensure a safe working environment.
Premises Coordination
- Serve as the local contact for premises and infrastructure-related topics within UTF Puurs.
- Identify, prioritize, and coordinate facility-related needs, maintenance activities, inspections, and improvement actions.
- Work closely with the TMHE Logistics Premises Responsible to ensure effective follow-up and resolution of premises-related issues.
- Support infrastructure improvements and premises compliance activities.
TPS / TLA Coordination
- Promote and coordinate the application of TPS and TLA principles within UTF.
- Act as the link between UTF and central TPS/TLA teams.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, workshops, and problem-solving activities.
- Support teams in identifying opportunities to improve quality, safety, productivity, and cost performance.
- Track improvement actions and contribute to building a culture of continuous improvement and waste elimination.
