Toyota Material Handling International AB (TMHI AB) is looking for an HR-professional with a broad, not necessarily, but preferably, long-term experience of HR work to facilitate the operational delivery of the company’s HR function.

We are a global company responsible for marketing, sales and support of warehouse trucks including Toyota, BT and Raymond brands on the international markets covering Asia, Latin America, Oceania, Middle East, and Africa. The TMHI markets have potential for continued strong growth and we need to further reinforce our team to support our ambitions to strengthen our market position by recruiting an HR Specialist.

YOUR CHALLENGE

The HR Specialist role in TMHI AB is made up of two elements of which one is the responsibility for handling ongoing HR tasks at the company headquarter in Mjölby, Sweden, the other is HR support connected to our operations outside Sweden, including employees stationed abroad in Europe, Japan, LATAM, MENA and APAC.

As an HR Specialist at TMHI AB your core responsibility will be to facilitate the international business through consultative work towards the Management Team, managers and internal/external stakeholders while managing daily tasks related to HR. This includes:

  • Deliver effective and continuous output that support the company reaching set objectives, business targets and requirements.
  • Provide process support for recruitments: job requirement specifications, job-ad content, publish and follow-up on job-ads in Talentsoft (HR support system) execute assessments and facilitate the candidate selection process.
  • Ensure that HR, payroll, time-reporting and business systems are maintained to a good standard.
  • Support and coordinate HR activities between TMHI AB and group companies.
  • Perform annual salary mapping and local salary negotiation process as company representative in the local group negotiation delegation.
  • Ensure annual HR-related activities such as health checks, salary talks, salary notification talks and PPDR’s, are carried out in a timely manner by managers and employees.
  • Stay up to date with activities in the pan-European HR community.

 

Your Profile

YOUR SKILLS

You are a solid service-oriented HR professional for whom multitasking comes natural as you have a great ability to steadily manage and prioritize different activities with a professional approach. You have a relevant academic background consisting of a degree in HR management or equivalent. You are used to working independently and cross functional as a good and reliable team player. While being flexible, you have a structured approach to performing your tasks with a pro-active, result-oriented and driven mindset.

You have excellent Swedish and English language skills allowing you to get across to all kinds of people with humility, clarity and ease whether verbally or in writing. Experience of working towards deadlines is meritorious as well as previous work experience from a role in a larger industrial organization, not necessarily, but preferably in an international context. This as frequent contact with Japanese group colleagues and interactions with Distributors on four continents will be a natural part of your scope.

Part of your work will be to collaborate closely with your functional colleagues in Marketing, Training and Communications, which is why:

  • Good writing skills is meritorious.
  • Experience in training, e-learning, conducting training courses, people & leadership development is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge in Adobe program suite: Adobe Sign, Photoshop and Adobe Premiere is a clear advantage.
  • Good MS Office/O365 skills is a requirement.

More Information

This is a permanent position (probationary period may be applicable). You will report to the General Manager HR, Marketing, Training & Communications and be stationed at the TMHI AB Head quarter office in Mjölby, Sweden. Intermittent international traveling is part of this position.
