1. Position Summary
The Head of Procurementis responsible for leading and overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and cost optimization. This role ensures that all goods and services are purchased in a timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner while maintaining high quality and supplier performance standards. The Head of Procurementplays a key role in improving procurement efficiency, reducing risks, and supporting organizational goals across departments.

2. Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement &amp; Sourcing

Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.

Supplier Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations, audits, and corrective actions.

Contracting &amp; Negotiation

Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and pricing.
Develop and manage framework agreements, SLAs, and long-term supplier contracts.

Operational Procurement Oversight

Oversee the purchasing process, including purchase order approval and supplier communication.
Ensure accuracy of procurement documentation, data, and reporting.

Cost &amp; Performance Management

Optimize procurement processes, tools, and systems (ERP/eProcurement).
Support annual budgeting and cost planning.

Risk, Compliance &amp; Sustainability

Ensure adherence to procurement policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
 Required Qualifications &amp; Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
Proven track record of supplier negotiations and contract management.
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing methodologies, and category management.
Experience with ERP and e-procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
